Now what?! We've educated ourselves on the mental health dangers COVID has shone light on and we've identified that putting ourselves first is imperative. Now we can focus on sharing our positive light with others.
Due to physical social distancing and isolation orders currently in place- many of us have found ourselves feeling bored, overwhelmed and lonely. In the spirit of creativity and social connection, below are some fun ways to encourage connection with friends and family!
Video Calling

Although sending a text, or emailing is extremely important. Studies show that voice and video calling produce similar happy hormones in your body as it would when seeing someone in-person! Dr. Paul Zak. Claremont Graduate University. TheMiamiHerald.com
Teleparty
Formerly Netflixparty, Teleparty is an extension app available through Edge or Chrome that allows you to watch movies off Netflix, Hulu, Disney and HBO simultaneously with friends and family. Offering cool features like group chat functionality to share GIFs and commentary! Teleparty (netflixparty.com)
Houseparty
Great for hosting virtual parties! Whether it's for friends, family or even coworkers, Houseparty is a video social app that allows you to connect from anywhere! You can even play Pictionary, Charades and trivia! Houseparty | Face to Face Social Network
